Joomla 1.5 -> Joomla 2.5

1. backup files and database
2. download, install and run jupgrade
   http://docs.joomla.org/J2.5:Migrating_from_Joomla_1.5_to_Joomla_2.5
3. install updates
4. install system language packs
5. configure content language: extensions → language → content
6. IDs of tables jos_languages.id and j25_languages.lang_id must correspond
7. copy joomfish language tables:

   CREATE TABLE j25_falang_content( PRIMARY KEY (id)) ENGINE = MYISAM CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci SELECT * FROM jos_jf_content;
   CREATE TABLE j25_falang_tableinfo( PRIMARY KEY (id)) ENGINE = MYISAM CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci SELECT * FROM jos_jf_tableinfo;
   ALTER TABLE j25_falang_content CHANGE COLUMN id id INT UNSIGNED NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT;
   ALTER TABLE j25_falang_tableinfo CHANGE COLUMN id id INT UNSIGNED NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT;

8. Als nächstes wähle ich die Tabelle j25_falang_tableinfo in phpmyadmin und lösche alle Einträge ausser: categories, content, menu und modules.
9. fix table j25_falang_content:

   ## the element 'link' does not exist in falang
   delete from j25_falang_content where reference_table = 'menu' and reference_field = 'link';
   ## replace name with title
   update j25_falang_content set reference_field='title' where reference_table='menu' and reference_field='name';
   ## deleting the old table language of Joomfish
   delete from j25_falang_content where reference_table = 'languages';
   ##  Also in this table run the following command and fix field params
   delete from j25_falang_content where reference_table = 'menu' and reference_field = 'params';

10. install falang package
11. enable module FaLang Language Switcher
12. Activate the plugin “System - Language Filter” (Language Filter)
13. activate the plugin System - FaLang Database Driver

CREATE TABLE j25_easybook( PRIMARY KEY (id)) ENGINE = MYISAM CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci SELECT * FROM jos_easybook;
ALTER TABLE j25_easybook CHANGE COLUMN id id INT UNSIGNED NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT;
